Founder · Yoga & Meditation

I came to yoga because of a distracted mind.

For as long as I can remember I wanted to be good at sport, but I felt very restricted in my body despite trying hard at it. From unfinished marathons to being an extra player in college teams, my limitation paved way for my curiosity.

I studied Chemical Engineering at IIT Bombay and spent several years working in business before eventually realising that my tight body and my anxious mind needed healing. Starting with yoga and after exploring different movement practices, today I am working with individuals who want to develop a deeper relationship with their bodies.

My approach is rooted in yoga, but it goes beyond performing postures. I am interested in the sensory and neurological aspects of movement, how we perceive our bodies, how we coordinate movement, how breath influences the body, and how better awareness can change the way we move.

My work at Eka is an ongoing exploration of that idea: using movement, breath and awareness to help people move with greater ease, precision and possibility.

Several people have contributed to Eka over the last several years.
